EARL WILD - Earl Wild, one of the 20th Century’s greatest pianists, died in January of 2010 at the age of 94. He was a legendary figure in the world of piano, performing throughout the world for over eight decades. For two of his most significant performances in later life—his 90th birthday recital at Carnegie Hall in 2005 and his 2007 performance at Disney Hall after receiving the Grammy’s Lifetime Achievement Award—he played the Shigeru Kawai EX Concert Grand Piano. A Shigeru Kawai artist, Mr. Wild also recorded Earl Wild at 88 on the 88s (Ivory Classics, CD-73005) and Living History (Ivory Classics, CD-75002) on the Shigeru EX piano.
The world has lost an incredible artist of immense talent who leaves a legacy that very few in the history of the piano can match. All those who love true piano artistry will miss him greatly.

ADREAN FARRUGIA- Award winning pianist and composer Adrean Farrugia has been a key member of the
Canadian jazz scene for 15 years. He has performed with such jazz luminaries as Curtis Fuller, Randy Brecker, Joel Frahm, and Darcy James Argue as well as with various ensembles across Canada, the United States, Europe and Japan. He can be heard on more than 30 recordings to date, two of which are under his own name. As well as being a prolific performer Adrean Farrugia's passion for music is also expressed as an educator. He is on the faculty of music at York University in Toronto as well as Mohawk College of Applied Arts in Hamilton Ontario. He has also been a guest clinician at The Polish Jazz Society's annual summer jazz workshop in Warsaw, Poland and at the Banff Centre for the Arts in Canada.

YUKO MARUYAMA - From Toyko, Japan, Yuko Maruyama graduated from the University of Southern California with a master's degree in Jazz Studies. She was named the "Outstanding Graduate" and her original composition "Twilight" was featured in Jazz at USC, the first CD produced by the department. As a classical pianist, Yuko was a first prize winner in the Piano Teacher's Association of America's Duo Piano Competition in San Diego. More... |

JUNKO UENO GARRETT - Japan-born Junko Ueno Garrett has captivated audiences around the world with her colorful tone, poetry, expressiveness, dynamic technique, and wide range of repertoire. She began playing piano at the age of three, trained at the prestigious Toho Gakuen School of Music in Tokyo, and received a Doctor of Musical Arts Degree from Rice University’s Shepherd School of Music in the United States.
